Since the beginning of his career, Santosh Chandran has made many successful associations with renowned artists and bands across the world. He started off by becoming part of the rock band 7th Galaxy and later joined the internationally acclaimed band Motherjane, an association that continued for quite a while
His Rock Connect continued with 13AD, which got him the opportunity to tour the Middle-East. It was during this time that he came across Jazz pianist John Hardie and Italian classic guitar player Salvatore, who opened the world of jazz to him. He was charmed by the beauty of playing guitar in the Flamenco style, a style which he later blended with Indian Ragas, leading to the creation of his own style, the Indo Flamenco style.
He teamed up with a line of elite artists from different streams of music, which included Velvetters, which comprised Salha Albusaidy (East African jazz singer) and Mark Gresty (bass guitarist), The Down Beat Jazz, a trio band with him, Sax NIck Foster and Merwyn, and a notable collaboration with Mr. Hratch (French saxophone player) and Mr. Ibrahim Jaber (percussionist from Lebanon).
Santosh Chandran also had a long association with the popular fusion band ARKA, which was a joint initiative by him and other celebrated music personas, including Selva Ganesh, Karthik, Gino Banks, Ravichandra Kulur, and Mishko M’Ba,
